And if the quality turns out to be ****, its not much of a "deal", is it?

First of all, you stated you didn't have any, so it's kinda funny that you're the one bringing quality into question. Do a search and you'll learn what you need to know about Vessel. It is helpful when people that have a tool can comment on the quality (or lack of), but "it's not german" doesn't mean anything. Secondly, it's a deals thread and it's reiterated on every other page and people still don't seem to comprehend this. :headscrat: So for the nth time, discussion/debate = new thread.

Yes, I indeed stated I don't own any. I also stated I don't know about the quality and compared it to German/Swiss (which I have tons of). What I questioned was a pretty much unknown brand that may or may not be high quality and may or may not be worth spending hard earned bucks on.

If yourself (and other whiners) can't just skim past a few comments without blowing a gasket, ya'll are taking the internet WAY too serious. I can guarandamntee you that the extra 3 seconds won't affect your life in any way. Anytime you feel like ponying up the bucks to run this forum, you can make the rules as you see fit.

Guys... you own page 519 of this thread. I tried to skim past you both but it's only you two and no HOT DEALS. :D

This was posted a week or so ago. It's proably worth posting again:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00935299000P

"Now $269.32 Savings applied in cart"

BUT, the price doesn't show up in the cart due to a website outage (I chatted with Sears). Ring them on the phone or chat and Sears will place the order for you at the $269.32 price.

My finger is on the trigger, but I have performance anxitey!

Thanks man,Just grabbed the Jeg's mat.For $10 shipped you can't go wrong,It will probably cost them $5 to ship it so 5 bucks for the mat is a steal!
Thanks! Just ordered one - perfect idea for benchtop work on things with small parts that roll easy!

I actually got the last mat. The page said less than 10 available so I ordered 2 then at check out it said that quantity was unavailable so I reduced it to 1 and checked out. Then went back to the listing and it was sold out. Would like to have gotten 2 but happy with one.

Masterforce toolboxes on sale at Menards till Jan 22. The 56" roller cab and chest is $200 off, now $998. Some other sizes on sale too. You need to type in your zip code to get the discounted online price.

http://www.menards.com/main/tools-h...-tool-chest-and-cabinet/p-1710435-c-12441.htm

Looks like of the $200 off, $170 of it comes from the Roller Cabinet alone. For guy's who have been contemplating the HF 56" Roller Cabinet, this one has 6 casters vs 4 on the HF, this has a full-width top drawer (HF doesn't) and you can add on to this later, with matching side cabinets and top cabinets which are not available for the HF 56".

OTOH, the HF 56" is 2" deeper and has a much heavier shipping weight, but not sure how much of that is the wooden crate that gets tossed?

edit: this one is roughly 300 lbs. net, HF 56" is roughly 450 lbs net.

I have not pulled the trigger on either of them (MF or HF) - just pointing out that it might be worth doing your homework if you live in an area where you have access to both stores.

Hmmm....I wonder if HF would price match the MasterForce box?

Edit: More Details...

Harbor Freight 56" cabinet
28,240 cubic inches of storage
Holds up to 1958 lbs
Net Weight 440.9 lbs

MasterForce 56" Cabinet
22,100 cubic inches of storage
Holds up to ?? pounds ( for certain 1100 lbs, but may be more )
Net weight: 297.7 pounds

Is this with the 11% rebate menards has on everything this week or is this just a sale price and then the rebate on top of that?
