I was at my local Pep boys (in north New Jersey, Hasbrouck Heights, route 17) and I notice most of the Powerbuilt brand tools and sockets were at 50% off, not sure if they are clearing out for another brand. I will try to check out the jersey city location to see if it's the same deal. As an example, the 20 inch 1/2 drive extension was on sale at $9.99, I needed this tool when I did the timing belt change in my Accord 3 months ago.

FYI, the Wiss snips at Lowes posted earlier were 3.74 at my store today! Not bad for 14.99 normal!:rocker:

One of 'em was that price at my store too. The other was $10.**. :headscrat

Also of note at Lowe's are the Nicholson hacksaw blade 2-packs. They are 87 cents each.

Numbers from my receipt:
21441- 12", 18T
21609- 12", 24T
24546- 12", 32T

There were other Nicholson things on clearance in the hacksaw section as well, so it is worth checking out if you are in the market for those sort of things.

Ryobi 8pc 1/4" shank router bit set for $5 Home Depot in-store only.

Product info

My local HD had maybe 8 sets still on the rack after I took 2 down. One for me, one for my uncle. These aren't the best bits, but at $5 for 8, they'll be fine backups and "oops I don't have that profile but need it RIGHT NOW" bits.

That was posted in this thread more than a week ago. Most of the stores are out now. I got the last one in my metro area after going to a bunch of stores looking for it.

Mister_two, you should come in Lowes on 17 and visit me!

Do I get a garagejournal discount? :) If I need to get something from Lowes, especially pricey stuff I usually go to the North Bergen Lowes on 1&9, 3.5% sales tax is tough to beat.

Yes, the powerbuilt stuff at Pep boys is foreign make.

Dickies Duck Jackets 50% off:

http://www.dickies.com/search/results.jsp?query=DuckJacketSavings

I bought one of the zipper front in black.

In addition, there are lots of promo codes out there for use on Dickies web site

I used "NEWS" and got $15 off $50. There is free shipping over $50 too. I got the duck jacket, a pair of jeans and a t-shirt shipped for $55.

Not sure on the COO, but I found it on Amazon through the same company for $45 and it has decent reviews:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TK2ZVW/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=hi&psc=1

I bought two at $35 as it seemed like a good deal, and I need a road box.

I have the 3-drawer Craftsman and while it's a decent box, what really attracted me to this deal were the full ball bearing slides. The Craftsman has crappy non-bearing slides which annoy me. I suppose they could be lubed up, but they'd attract plenty of dirt/grime to stick in the lube.

I was in the Portchester NY store yesterday and they had about 20 sets. I took 4, there may still be more.

the jackets tend to run on the large side. Get a size under what you'd normally purchase.

Craftsman Heavy Duty socks were 55% off at my local Sears in Salem, NH. I had to do a double take: Made in USA. YMMV.
