I think you just described this thread and the members here, including myself!

Its hard to pass up a good deal when everyone is snatching them up and talking about how great it is. Even if you have no need for it! I think its a scarcity effect...

But yes, the people over at SD are crazy and buy as much as they can! Once a good deal is posted over there you beetter jump on it ASAP!

i think one of our own was way ahead of everyone on this deal LOL:

I think a lot of deals are no longer posted on here due to the asinine practices of buying when you don't need it and hoarding to resell. i know anything I post on here is only AFTER I receive what I NEED from the deal.....:(

BTW was they anyone who couldn't get the Home depot deal for channel lock pliers? They were about $10.00 - 15.00 on each pair of pliers. Only a select few. Fencing, crimpers, cutters and something else.

i wanted the crimpers but cant find them

The 909? They are $10.00 at my HD so $16.00 after shipping and paypal fees. Not a huge deal if that's the only pair you want. I'm thinking about buying a bunch and selling sets at cost so shipping 3-4 pairs for $5 is a lot better of a deal. Ill check today and let you guys know tonight.

Well I'll go ahead and open the flood gates on this one. It seems Grainger is now carrying SK stuff. Most are at industrial prices so nothing to exciting, other than these two.

One of mine says backordered so I dunno what the stock situation is.

Yep, I'm gonna beat a dead horse here. My buddy ordered 3 of these, one for him, one for me, and one for another friend...and they finally showed up. It actually panned out, how crazy is that? 2.5 months later we got our ratchets LOL

Wish I could have gotten in on the HF 5 Drawer cart when it was $149. Been so wrapped up with getting the truck up to speed and finding a place to bring the 55.

Re: 5 Drawer HF cart for 149

if that link above still doesn't work, copy the URL, go to slickdeals.net, then paste the URL into your address window and it should work. Its the 5 drawer red HF box for 149.99, good through 5/1/12

When posting deals, can we please give a quick description.

Especially if its one of the slickdeals where you have to open a new window and copy paste.

I stopped by one this evening and got the last crimper, so some of the stores still have them. I'll check a different tomorrow during lunch, I'd like to find the cutters.
