Found this link for 5% off selected items at sears from dealdigg:
http://www.sears.com/?sid=IAx20090224x000001

http://www.dealigg.com/story-sears-coupons-sears-coupon-code-printable-coupon

Took 5% off the cheap tool bag and Motorcycle jack I bought. So its an alternative to the $5 off $50 Sears2012 coupon code for orders over $100. Not sure of the actual code, but the link applied it to my cart.

Using this dealigg link and adding the impact socket module to your cart (which is currently 15% off with their midnight sale), you can get it for $153.42+tax. Less than $3/socket seems like a pretty decent deal to me.

No kidding, sounds like a recipe for broken knuckles vs busted knuckles

I can see it being useful for me removing the air cooled engine in my vw bus. A bunch of bolts in fairly awkward places leaving little room to swing a ratchet.

I don't get a Buy Now tab with that IR Ratchet for $40, nice to have a spare. If somebody has the Buy Now link please PM me with it.
Thanks, JASTECH & Son

I grabbed one of those just last week! Bought the nearly identical Cman set a couple black fridays ago for the same price, but they haven't gone that low since!

There's a USA made 18-piece set in HD stores?! Last time I was in their they were still Taiwan.

I've got the 44 piece husky and everything except the smallest screw drivers, the magnetic holder and the plastic bit holder are marked USA.

thanks for the HD deals, I picked up 4 of the mobile workstations and successfully used HF 20% coupons on all of them (at different stores) coming to about 80$ plus tax each, also got 2 code blue adj wrenches at 10$ because they were mislabeled.

no I'm not hoarding, I have brothers and personally 80$ is about all they're worth.

USA Made 40 piece screwdriver set at HD for $19.97. By most accounts, these are the same OEM as the craftsman screwdrivers, but craftsman doesn't seem to offer it with this combination of drivers and the bit handle. Personally, I prefer that Husky's micro drivers are color coded (Red/Blue).

Got my 1/2" and 1/4" Craftsman modules today. Happy to report everything inside is marked "USA."

As usual lately, my order "unfortunately did not process properly" yet again, they sure don't give a toss about their international buyers--10pc combo set, 1/4 module, 3/8 module, all no go.
I give up, this mob simply are not interested in selling their online specials to customers abroad, dosen't matter how much you have spent either.

Just picked those up. 2nd to last set at my HD. The last one had been opened and most likely returned, so maybe they are holiday left over?

I didn't even need any drivers. You guys are a bad influence. That's 2 "deals" so far, and I just joined a week ago.

Sears is having a "mega tool sale," briefly discussed on TG, but I can't find anything that's actually discounted by much. Many of the items on my wish list, and items under their "deals" list, are still full price!

There was even a commercial on TV last night advertising the sale. I'm not impressed. But maybe the tools some of you are looking for are included in sale.

That's the same set I've got.

It's not 100% US made. take a look at the micro and bit driver.

LOL Stuey.

I heard that same commerical but in radio form yesterday afternoon.

Since Sears just had a blow-out 50% off mechanics tool sets sale this past weekend I was confused and now it seems it;s just another blow-hard attempt to bait and switch with lip service.
Boo Sears. :(

Yesterday some of the deals they mentioned on twitter were lousy as well. Kingcraft plastic sawhorses for $23.74. Aside from the fact that they're flimsy, they go on sale for $12.50 every so often.

It's just frustrating b/c I get excited and then see that there's nothing at all great about the "mega sale."

Our local Sears in the mall is clearancing everything out except for tools and electronics. Apparently they are no longer selling clothing, jewelry, etc and I am not sure if this is just my store or nationwide. Might be something to check into. Most were 40% off original price and then another 50% off that marked down price. I was getting polo-type shirts for about $4 each. YMMV

Folks,

I'm hoping this won't create another Grainger ratchet scandal, but they look to have a pretty good deal on a set of Proto 10" slip joint pliers. I don't need another set of these, so I didn't order them, but I did put them in my cart and see what happened. It appears, like the ratchet, they may now be out of stock in some places, but it looks like you can still order them if your willing to wait. I don't have any Proto Blackhawk stuff, but I believe they are reasonable quality and the COO is USA. For under $5 for 10" pliers seemed like a good deal

http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/BLACKHAWK-BY-PROTO-Rib-Lock-Plier-2R679?Pid=search

I also ran into a great deal at ACE yesterday that probably was a local mis-mark, but it may also have been a unadvertised clearance. They had a pair of Knipex 87 02 300 SBA 12" Cobra pliers normal cost at $19.99 and was able to use the 29% coupon to get them for just under $16. These are $45 or more most places. The Ace number is 2103372, but it doesn't come up on the web site. Probably one of those one time finds, but if your in Ace....

Not on my screen, this bunch have just increased prices by at least 20% in the past week, and for international buyers--just forget it-your order will just not 'process properly" on any specials,-locals only by the looks, they simply don't need the business apparently
