$179 on Amazon but with a different case.

Not a bad deal, I bought this kit when it was on sale for $129 with a 11% rebate at Menards. I don't think the price goes much lower.

Craftsman Club shows the 1/2" drive impact deep sockets for half off for the week. They do this regularly, but with USA stock going away, may be running out of time to get them. I'm going to go see if they have USA ones in the store and grab a set if they do.

I just joined the "Craftsman Club", but it doesn't show me any current deals - says to check back April 13-19, is that when the deep impacts will be on sale?

Anything else worthwhile in the craftsman club ad?

Picked up one of the Ryobi Laser Levels at Home Depot in Tulsa. Marked $71, rang up for $29.03, and with the Harbor Freight coupon out the door for $25.20! There was one left.

Just left Menard's. They had a bunch of hand tools on clearance. Mostly Tool Shop but a few Irwin. The boltout sockets among them. I wouldn't try to make a living with Tool Shop stuff but not bad for trunk or kids to use.

i assume you asked them to price check it... it's listed at 109 here to ...but when they scan it ... it goes down to 20 something... the guy also had a printout sheet that showed it was on the discontinued item list

Just received the mat as well. Nice quality. Definitely a good deal. I didn't get a hat though. I'll live. Thanks to the OP for the link.

They didn't send a hat with my order either. I messaged them through ebay and asked why it said it came with a hat and they said they would send one right out. So if you do want one just message them and they will send one out.

I was just looking at Snap-On vise-grip type pliers. Anybody had experience with that? They are not made in U.S and the price is not that high. How do they compare with this Irwin pliers?

I guess this is a good deal if you wanted some import vise grips.

The Snap-On are really nice and made in Spain. As for how they compare with the Irwin, well they both work well.

OK Folks, I was able to grab 2 more Ryobi laser levels from HD for $29.03 each.

I will be happy to mail them to anyone who can't get one locally for the $29.03 plus tax ($2.75) plus shipping via USPS medium sized flat rate ($11.35) which comes to $43.13 to the lower 48.

USPS money order

I will also take Paypal if you add $1.50 for the fees they would charge me.

1st two people to confirm they want one (via PM) get them.

BTW: I removed both levels from the box and checked to make sure they powered up and had vertical and horizontal lines. They both appear to be functioning just fine.

I picked 1 up today as well to list for sale. Figure mine is the same $44.00. Money orders are the best!
