Bought this today at Lowes for $335 on Clearance. They said they are getting rid of this model at lowes and just selling the Kobalt ones for now on. Not sure if your local Lowes is doing the same. First compressor so I'm stoked

Scored huge on the 97 cent swivel sockets, alot of my friends are very happy right now. Unfortunately I only needed a few of them, but everybody else is making out really well. Thanks for the heads up on that!

The Kobalt equivalent of that regularly goes on sale for $380 before you even poke them with coupons at my local Lowes. So if you don't have the CH deal, just wait until the Kobalt goes down to $380, then slap a 10% moving coupon on the counter.

If anyone's in need of prescription/magnifying/reading safety glasses this is a killer deal.

All you end up paying is about $6 handling after the $100 coupon.

Search safety and two sets of frames come up.

Credit goes to SD:

http://slickdeals.net/f/4247026-Cos...ree-or-100-off-Upgrade-to-overnight-shipping?

SD link is old, sale been around about a month, still going strong.

None of them are osha rated though, home use, with the inside pop out lenses.

Hey Guys

I went to my local Sears and only had a few minutes. Picked up the swivel sockets in 11mm, 15-19mm. There are others on sale as well in that range, so if anybody wants some and feel its worth the shipping, let me know. I plan on going back to check out other stuff.

I need to re-read all the sears stuff in this thread, but did others find the 10's and 12-14's on sale?

I know there is a Sears deal thread but its overflowing with discussion about sockets so posting this here, just arrived a few hours ago. It seems to be hinting that the points are specifically for sporting goods but they seem to be just plain old points that can be applied to anything. Just applied them to the master set of craftsman bolt-outs. Ymmv but check your email or rewards account. Free $10 is fine with me.

Just received my order three days later. Not bad for free shipping!

Have you had a chance to try these out yet. I love my bosch pocket driver and have been thinking about adding these to the collection until my friend bought the dewalt 20v impact which is nice. I checked out the impact rating on both the bosch and the dewalt and for the dewalt being 20v and bosch being 18 the bosch had a larger ft/lbs rating.:dunno:. I do like the grip on the bosch better. Is the chuck 3/8 or 1/2 on those.

^^^^^^^

I bought the Bosch 1/4" impact driver last week and received it this Wednesday. That little 1/4" driver is strong! Strong enough to remove header bolts off a 4.8L Vortec engine.

Now I dont have to run my air compressor late at night; I'll just use my Bosch Impact driver.

PS: Currently looking into the Bosch 18V Impact 1/2 Gun for the bigger nuts/bolts!

Are those both pretty good compressors?
Single stage I take it?

They're adequate compressors. I use one in my shop (I'm a professional mechanic and I own my own shop). It cycles once or twice per day being used for running a big-assed impact gun, filling tires, blowing **** off, running an air hammer, etc. The last shop I was at had one that lasted 2 years and going strong when I left to open my own place. Mine has been going fine for a year. If you had a multi-mechanic shop or you did a lot of painting or sanding, I think you'd cycle it often enough to wear it out quickly. For a typical serious DIY homewoner or for a small repair shop, it's a great fit.

The one on the left is a drill, the one on the right is a 1/4" impactor. You'll want something different. Not sure how common 3/8" battery impacts are, I've only seen 1/2" drive. You'll likely need to bring your wallet to get a powerful one, I know Bosch makes a couple VERY powerful 18V models and I would expect Milwaukee does too.

I haven't gotten to use them yet but later today and tomorrow I should get some work in. They feel great in my hands. Plus with my free 25 dollar Amazon gift card and two extra free batteries it's definitely icing on the cake.

You know, I think you're right after looking at the pics again. But I do remember there was a different kind in store that had a more round thin profile handle which I did not like at all and I thought the 33442 were those, and the 99442 were the flatter "beam" style. They do have two different part numbers and are not subject to the same discount at the same time, but they have the same price. The only assumption to be made is that the COO is different, and that the 99442 are probably not US made. Oh well.
Well, I was completely wrong... on several accounts. First, the proper number for the ones I bought is 44992. Second, the 33442 and 44992 are identical sets of the thin profile ratchets. Third, I got my 99442 set and it is all marked as being US made. Why Sears sells the same set under two different part numbers is unknown, but what I did know is that the 33442 is never in my store's stock and the 44992 always is.
