Any coupon codes i'm missing for sears right now or is the SEARS2012 all that's out there? I'm a little mad at myself for not ordering in time to use the MAYDEALS code.

Also mad i didn't catch the 1/4" cushion flex head. :(

Someone should start a thread with nothing but known coupon codes. I hate flipping through pages of old hot deals trying to find them.

That + expiration dates would be awesome.

If i had known the code was going to expire, i would have at least ordered 2/3rds of my stuff. Would have saved me an easy $45. :(

Just saw this in an email from Sears when looking for coupon codes for Concealer.

2. 5/15 - One Day Online Only Sale! Thousands of Items on sale plus EXTRA 5-15% off
3. 5/16 - One Day Online Only Sale EXTENDED! Thousands of Items on sale plus EXTRA 5-15% off

huh? If they know they'll be extending the one-day sale to two days, why not just call it a two-day sale?

Sears has that running sale for some time. They will have another sale after these two end.

Heh, i ignore those emails... they've been running that "sale" for the last month or two, they just tend to advertise it differently or something.

What i WAS going to do was order all the ratchet/socket sets in Gearwrench.

Now i think i'll just get the 15 piece combo wrench, the 3/8" flex cushion ratchet (bummer that the 1/4" is out of stock), and give some of their screwdrivers a shot.

Thought I should share this for conformation, I went yesterday to my Sears to order the 3/8gw flex ratchet and I got free shipping like the other guys did. Is it always free shipping if you go store to the store?

It only works on things that go UPS. You would not get free delivery on something like a large drill press that they use their own trucks to deliver.

So your OCD was getting the better of you and you were going to order the GW 1/4" and 3/8" sets? Haha. Did you order the GW 1/2" set? If I didn't have a nice SK 15 pieces SAE socket set and all my impacts and a Kobalt 1/2" ratchet, I would get that set. i did order the GW polish 1/2" ratchet separately. Now I will have a polish GW ratchet in each drive size plus the 3/8" stubby that comes in the socket kit.

Well actually i have all three sets sitting in my cart, and no, i didn't order the 1/2" yet. :eyecrazy:

My OCD is also hating that i can only get the 3/8" cushion flex ratchet. I want the cushion flex in the other two sizes!!!

Next question: If i go to the store (and i don't very often) do i... order myself? Or do i have to talk to someone?

And the big question for either in-store or calling sears.com: Can i pay with PayPal? I'm trying to fund all of this year's tool purchases from parts and tools i've sold, don't want anything to hit the bank account.

I have a PayPal debit card that allows me to utilize my PayPal balance at retail establishments. Not sure you can use PayPal in person or over the phone without one. You can pay with PayPal when you order from their website.

I do not think gearwrench makes a 1/2" flex cushion grip. I was looking and have not seen one but I would like one. I really like the cushion grip stuff.

Ok well, i could live with just the 1/4" but i'm not paying $40 or whatever it normally goes for. :scared:

how did you do that? I cant even get the page that says its out of stock for that price?

On this page:

http://www.sears.com/gearwrench-1-4...87S2118019901P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

In the box right below the price, it says:

"Also sold by 2 other sellers starting from $12.49"

Click on the link and it will take you to the "Also Available From" tab at the bottom of the page. In there, is a link where you can enter your email address to be notified when it becomes available.

If the tools you're after are full price, wait another day or so.

5/17-5/19 there will be a "but more, save more" event (10%-off, 15%-off $300+), and 5/18-5/19 there will be a 2-day online "all tools" sale.

US Jack 3-ton Jack stands reg. 105.78 now $59.50

US Jack 6-ton Jack stands reg. 117.00 now $66.20

http://usjack.com/products.html

Shipping UPS ground is probably in the $20-$25 range per pair. My shipping was $22.49 for a pair of 6-ton stands.

This deal has been going on for a while, but I think it's worth posting again.

I want to pick up a set of 6 ton, but my only issue is why do their 6-ton look so much light weight than the thicker 6-ton everyone else sells? Their 6-ton looks more like a 3-ton, yet they say each stand is rated at 6-tons?

Craftsman ¼” DRIVE THUMBWHEEL RATCHET $8.49

These are not USA made, if I remember correctly they are Taiwan.

Deal of the Day in tools expires tonight.

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00993098000P

GearWrench Micrometer 25-250in./lbs. Torque Wrench 3/8 in. Drive $67.99
According to tooltopia.com they are USA made.
Use SEARS2012 for $5.00 off. Shipping was $6.99 for me.

Wow, Sears really *****! I put 3 of the 1/4" drive thumb ratchets and 1 of the Torque wrenches into my cart at 10:10PM and went to check out and my $99.71 cart went to $255.57 in the checkout??? So I called the 800# and they tried to place the order too coming up with the same results, they said the prices were changed in a batch file so they couldn't do anything about it, So I guess the sale was only until 10:10PM and not 11:50 CT like the add said? I thought maybe they could over ride the checkout price but I guess not?

I bought the 6-tons and seeing is believing! US Jack's primary market is the US military and they are proud to make their products in the USA. Do a search on jackstands and see how US Jack rates on GJ.

Just to make my comment HOT DEAL INDEX-worthy, their current special is a smoking deal!

You need to call them. They don't normally deal with Joe consumer.

Though not perfect, these are the best current production jack stands i have seen. The have wider bases than anything else out there. I think their 3 ton stands have a range and a base as large as some 6 ton stands.

The only down sides for me was that the welds look big and beefy but not elegant. Also, some of the paint was chipped right out of the box. After seeing this I reminded myself that they are jack stand and not jewelry for the wife and I was fine. :)
