Not much of a hot deal, but if you're looking for Craftsman sockets, the 10 piece 1/2" drive Metric, 6 point set is on sale for $19.99. That's $10 off regular price of $29.99. Or 33%.

"10 sockets (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19mm), 6 pt. metric sizes."

Say what you want about Craftsman but brand new, lifetime warranty, USA made, 1/2" drive sockets for $2 each? That's a deal.

Sweet! I just picked up my first 12 and my local guy said come on back as many times as I want..

This was a great find as the Porsche holds 12 and I've been paying almost $8 a quart lately, not to mention the 5qt containers VERY deceptively went to 4 qt at the same price.

Thanks man!

Wal-mart still sells the 5qt containers. I believe they're $26 for 5qts of Mobil-1 5w-30 full synthetic.

I found this on BITOG. It is just a scan of someone's flyer and seems to have worked well for the BITOG folks. Among other things, you can make some pretty good deals on Gearwrench stuff with it. *I* certainly intend to!

Not sure if it's just a local thing, but when I went to Lowes today, they gave me a coupon book that showed 25% off Mechanics gloves.

Nice deal. USA made.

I stopped by Lowe's on the way to work. The website is wrong - it's actually a 1/4" kit.

It's still a good deal. It comes in a nice molded case. If I didn't already have a new Kobalt 1/4" ratchet, I would jump on it. I still might grab a set.

The web site doesn't say... is it SAE or Metric?

I thought I might get one for the wife's car but I REALLY need Metric there.

It's both. I don't remember the specific sizes, but there are around 9 sockets of each type.

This is correct. They have the model #wrong. It's actually the 1/4" set.

Kobalt doesn't actually make a 20 piece 3/8 set. The 3/8 set is 24 pieces and it's $34. Not on sale.

However, because I bought it online with in-store pickup, when I got there, they honored the 3/8 set at the 1/4 set price. So, I got a 3/8, 24 piece Made in USA set that's NOT on sale for $13. :bounce:
