How do all organize your screwdrivers?

Just wondering, maybe I could get some ideas. I don't have too many screwdrivers now, but I just ordered a set and a few individual ones from the Classifieds :) I have the plierrax (or however it's spelled) for my pliers, and I love that thing. Just wondering how you guys keep yours organized in you boxes. My box is only a 32" Bottom box with a cabinet, I don't have the top box, or a hutch or anything. Although I wouldn't mind seeing what you guys do to organize your screwdrivers when you have a hutch and all!

That's what I've been thinking, but I only have one of the small drawers as a screwdriver drawer, so it'll get filled quick. I guess the answer is to get the top box for my box haha

Most of them are piled in a drawer in my toolbox. The rest are in racks, coffee cans, and tool bags for sound and telephone/computer work.

I have a hard time keeping my screwdriver organized bc they just roll around when you pull the drawer in and out. I have a dedicated drawer for phillips and flat-head screw driver, even then it's messy.

I think having two trays, one for flat and one for philips, to keep them separate would be a good idea.

You just need to buy more screwdrivers to take up the empty space!

Steevo and NJHandyguy look like they actually use theirs - so I'd do what they do :)

I do nothing special with mine, just lay them down inside two drawers in my tool chest, that's it. Exactly like Steevo and Jeffmoss26 above has pictured.

Shared my magnetic strip idea earlier in the week here. The "cram the box so full nothing can shift" is funny as that would be shunned for most things here on GJ as incredibly sloppy. Just sayin'....

I've been using a couple of magnetic strips for a while now too. Some days I really like it, other days I'm not so sure. It's better than having them rolling around all over the place, but I'd ideally like to find some better method.

Topmost drawer with screwdrivers is Phillips drivers, with some phillips bits.

Middle drawer is flat-head screwdrivers, with some flat-head bits.

Lower drawer is specialty screwdrivers and specialty bits, with a few phillips bits and flat-head bits thrown in for good measure.

I shadowed mine. Once I complete my toolbox to pitbox conversion, I'll be taking my entire setup to the racetrack with me. This will (hopefully) keep all my stuff from rolling around in transit and will help me ensure that I don't leave anything behind before I head home.

I don't... I'll have to post a pic of my screwdriver/plier drawer... some of you might get a kick out of a peek in there... :lol_hitti

It's getting quite loaded... and I have enough spares to fill that drawer to the top with screwdrivers... might do that yet to justify the purchase of a HF toolbox... :bounce:

I dunno, it works for me. LOL.
Here is top drawer of my basement box. Garage box uses same "cram it in there" system but with Craftsman Pro, snap-on and Wiha screw drivers. My Facom P0 to P4 set is jammed in the skinny dwr. of one of my service carts. Nut drivers are kept in separate dwr. since they do not get used often.

Here's my screwdrivers/pliers drawer... :bounce:

I've got a small Craftsman carry around tool box full of stuff, lots of screwdrivers, sockets, and other stuff in there... weighs about 60 pounds... full to the brim. Got another small vintage box with the two lids that open out, one with the socket tray/lid and a shelf, and the other with shelves. Tools in there as well. Tools in drawers, on workbenches, etc.

A few boxes of assorted pins, clips and such in there too.

My wrench drawer is getting quite full as well. Some Tru-Fit, some Indestro, a Bonney, and some other good ones in there. Once you start, you are not going to stop very easily... (well, it's really the tools' fault... they start multiplying like rabbits...:shocking:)

Organized chaos... I know where damn near everything is. When things are too organized, I have trouble finding stuff more often than if they were somewhat disorganized.

If I was staring at what you have in your avatar, my screwdrivers wouldn't even make it in the drawer.
