Maybe, treat a girl like a lady, then they might have a recognition of how they should be treated. Whenever I get flowers for my wife, I always bring some for my daughter. I open the car door for both her and her mother, and always try to bolster her "worth" as an individual. Kids will do what they do, but I hope the example that I try to teach, will go a long way, with my son and daughter. I know it works from personal experience...........
When I was a young boy (7), a girl threw a rock at me. I threw one back. My father whipped my ***, and told me to never act violently against any girl. My father was a big man, and I always remember the lesson. As a teenager when my sweetheart would be non-rational, I always remembered what my father "taught" me, and let them be their own person without anger or violence. My dad always said, save the *** kicking for some A-hole dude, never a woman.
Prepare your kids for their future, as much as you can, and cross your fingers. If just half of it sticks, they might remember if they get into a bind.
