Just an update on this as I'm under the truck today doing PM and an oil change. The lines are holding just fine, no leaks or seeps. I was concerned with the finished product, the hose ends not being up against the end cap and making a good seal. However, there is nothing to report other than all is well.

I just would like to update this thread with a tool that solves this issue.
Installs push loc hose in seconds. Go to this website and check it out.
www.koultools.com Also, check out my new method of removing push-on hose without marking up the barbs. It is under "shop tips" I don't want to make this sound like an ad, but to let you know there is a solution to this problem.

Use them on all of our air fittings and cooling hoses. The tool helps but can be a pia. They do sell a special lube for this. In the field I use hot water and soap. Also clamps will void the warranty according to our Parker rep.
