how do you store meter leads?

Do you guys wrap them around the meter roll them up and throw them in the drawer what do you all do. My electrical drawer at the shops a mess

Mine are typically just looped up and thrown in the drawer Idk if I'm **** enough for the bread ties

My fluke 87 has the spots on the back I just never liked bending the cords that much just wears thwm out faster. My meters dont have pouches

Man that's slick wish there was a way to lock them up if I had a hutch I'd mount that in it in a heartbeat

Man my **** thrown in my drawer can't touch that...... I understand organization but some guys take it to an extreme with the storage bins trays and polishing how do theu get work done

That was back before the economy went to **** though, I had to fire the virgins. Nowadays I coil the leads around the meter and cram it back in the case.

Coil them up and zip tie, then throw them in the electrical drawer. Use 'em about twice a week.

meter is in my electrical box with everything else in my service truck

i'd wrap them around a virgin's silky smooth thighs,
if i could find one :lol_hitti

So I'm not the only one with a pig pen electrical drawer

nope; mine are wrapped around the meter
piercing and aligator clamps leads are tossed in there too
along with scope leads and a power probe with 20' cord
so yeah; get pretty crazy sometimes

Don't wrap them around the meter, I keep mine in the Fluke box under the meter, but extras are in an old blowmolded tool box coiled loosly. Would a slightly used virgin work, Redwrench? Lots of those around...
