How do you store your PPE?

I have a whole bunch of extras that I'm not actively using on a daily or even monthly basis. Coveralls, hardhat, spare safety goggles, respirator filters, disposable masks and gloves. Should I just toss them in a cheap tote or are there any other clever ways of storing these?

Small, regular use (masks, gloves etc)--lives in one of my recycled kitchen cabinets in the shop. Large-ish, occasional--lives in one of the large Ikea storage cabinets in the house...

I used totes for things like drop cloths, house wire, extension cords and lights that are not in regular use--things that I'm likely to dig through when I need something

I keep mine hung up near where I use it the most. In the case of earmuffs n eye protection, I have lot of pairs hanging near where the noisy things are stored, or on them if they're big enough.

This is what I do too. I keep goggles/glasses near every bench tool that needs them. I keep my ear muffs hanging on my drill press handle, which is near all the noisy stuff, saws, air tools, etc.

I keep gloves (leather gloves and latex), masks, respirators and ear plugs in the hinged-top of my tallest toolbox.

I keep a ratty hoodie on a hook by the door if I am going to do anything that might spray **** on my shirt, lol.

Daily use PPE such as aprons, welding helmets, safety shields, etc. are hanging up on hooks on the walls. Gloves and safety glasses are in a drawer under workbench where easily accessed. Spare PPE items are stored in a large tote that I store up on the mezzanine in our home's attached garage out of the way.

Great topic!
I keep mine located more point of use; I also keep a stock of PPE items in a cabinet for anybody in my shop that needs them as well.
I also make sure that my grandkids use PPE when they are working a project here.
My first aid kit is hung on the wall in plain sight.
I wear safety glasses and steel toes shoes in the shop, I got in the habit because of past manufacturing requirements.
I have a box of ear plugs on top of my toolbox, earmuffs, nitrile gloves, leather gloves, quality dust respirator located
on the work bench.
Paint respirator is located with Paint equipment, its stored sealed in a new one-gallon metal paint can.
My welding PPE is stored with my welding equipment.

My biggest risk is chemical absorption through the hands when using paint stripper, pesticides, chemicals and such.
Nitrile is great for grease and oil but not good with lacquer thinner concerning absorption rates.
Work safe!
