Is the water absorption test done with small puddles of water or just a few drops? And how many minutes is pass/fail? Or does it depend on the product?
Some posts in this forum have recommended 1/4 cup of water, and Concrete Sealers USA's TS210 product application states "a few small drops of water". That's pretty far apart.
I just poured about 1/4 cup of water, divided into 5 puddles (1/20 cup each). One of the puddles absorbed in ~5 minutes, one in ~15 minutes, and the other 3 took about an hour. Not sure what that result means.
