Well lets see...

1x 1/4" Craftsman VT Raised Panel
1x 3/8" Craftsman KV Raised Panel
1x 1/2" Craftsman VF Raised Panel

...and because my count is so low I'm going to toss in my Proto 1/2" torque wrench.

When this thread was started back in 2010, that's pretty much what I had, three Craftsman RP ratchets (1/4", 3/8", 1/2") from the mid 1980s. Those were my go to ratchets because that's all I had and they seemed to work just fine. I never considered acquiring more becuase I didn't need them. Still, if you hang around this website long enough, your latent lust for tools will emerge, others will encourage and enable you, one thing will lead to another and the next thing you know you've acquired more tools than you ever thought you would......Anyway, now I have closer to 30 ratchets but I still mostly use the three original Craftsman RPs I got back in the 1980s.

four 1/4" drive
seven 1/2" drive and two 3/4 drive

Don't have any of the weird sizes like 7/16ths or 5/8ths yet though....

Can never have too many :)

I have about 3 I guess, I have some in there I haven't used in a long time, some I never used..
I only use a few..
my sk rotohead {favorite}
offset 3/8" {great for oil drain plugs and to keep your knuckles away from work when no extension will work}
1/4 flex head
1/2" long handle

Thats about it out of the rest, some times I will use the 3.8 long as a breaker bar, and the stubby when I can't fit a normal ratchet...

I have a bunch of sockets, I wonder how many sockets the guys with 70 ratchets heave, lol..

You know the GJ motto . . . . Pics or It Didn't Happen !! :D

You'll likely need about 10 consecutive posts using 7 pics each to display !! :rocker:

GJer's will be fine with pics for now . . . . Database with details later !! :bounce:

Truer words were never spoken. When I joined GJ, I think I had 3 or 4 ratchets. That number increased to 25 or so awhile back. I've now pared it down to 9, and hopefully that's where it will stay. The truth is I just didn't need those other ratchets. I did everything I wanted with my origial 3 ratchets and prior to this forum never really wanted any more.

I'm right at around 100 give or take a couple. I can't walk away from a cheap USA ratchet at the swap meet. I try to give each one a little use from time to time.

I only have 17...a couple sets of RP, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 C Man thin profile, C Man 3/4. Two SK 1/4. Pink Box pink plastic 3/8(my go to done I can always see where it's at) and a black HF plastic 3/8. Then a CMan 1/2 and 3/8 flex heads. I need more and better quality ratchets...oh and 1/4 and 3/8 C Man palm ratchets.

no clue on exact numbers. Off the top of my head..... All of the newer series SO comfort handle and hard handle ones, a dozen or so chrome handled ones, a few of the older 36 tooth SO ones, 6-7 Cornwell ratchets of different descriptions, 2 wright, 1 SK, 3 craftsman, a few Hazet, Facom and Wera, multitudes of Mastercrfaft and Husky, and 1 Genius. Also have a few SO cordless and air ratchets and a Milwaukee M12 cordless.

Just occurred to me..... I only have 2 exact duplicates besides the ones I have in my sons' sets. A 1/4 SO flex and a non flex comfort handle. The only reason I have those is to convert them to compact head 3/8. I have the kits I just havent done the swap yet.

Thought I posted in this thread before, but I can't find it. Off the top of my head, I can think of 50 between four boxes.

Ive got well over a dozen.....but only use a few.

comfort grip Snap On flex head dual 80 3/8 is my main ratchet

use an Armstrong 88 3/8 when Im working on something oily, the comfort grip and oil dont work so well

BAHCO 1/4 inch gets used when I need to get to the small stuff

Crafstman Pro 1/2 ratchet is my go to with the bigger stuff

Wright 3440 3/8 drive in 1/4 body gets used quite a bit to - kinda handy when its tight

Husky roto-ratchet in 3/8 and 1/4 when I need flexibility

Just 3. 2 1/2", 1 Kobalt 72 tooth count and 1 craftsman premium. 1 3/8", craftsman flex head. Shopping around for 3/4" ratchet and sockets for my next buy.

Hold off on those sockets. You need more ratchets.:lol:
I just had to make a drawer just for round heads. My drawer couldn't take anymore.. sorted through my extensions. Sold prob 10 and I bet I still have over 1000. I figure 60 or 70 pounds worth. I'm an addict

If it makes you feel better. I'm up to four now. Snatched up an SK 47170 3/4" drive ratchet. Guy on eBay had it listed as $50 OBO and $14.05 shipping. So I offered $35 and he took it. $49.05 to my house. It'll be here Wednesday.
