3 rollcabs with tops, 2 more top boxes on the benches, and numorus hand carry boxes, plus the tool boxes on the tractors.

GS what do you consider a tool box? Does the drawer in the kitchen with tools count? How about the bag under the seat in the truck?

main box and cart. They're both in the detached garage for now. When I get the attached garage sorted out the cart will go in there.

54 inch SnapOn roller, with top box, 56 inch Mac roller, with work top, 56 inch Matco roller with 56 inch General (Torin) top box, 41 inch BluePoint with Snap-on Top box, 36 inch SnapOn under bench, 5 intermediate boxes scattered around the shop. Other boxes in other buildings, including garage, shed, and my wife uses a big Husky box with a Craftsman intermediate for camera gear.

So I guess about 15 in the shop, maybe 5 in the other buildings.

Not enough apparently. I am shopping for a tool chest right now.... I have four 26 inch sets, looking to get something longer: 56 inch maybe, then sell off one of the 26'ers.

But I do not work on cars, everything is either bicycle, motorcycle, or home restoration tools (I have two 1934 homes, just picked up one that needs just about everything). So I do not need a super long box.

KRL 1022 / 1201 / 1012 setup at work. At home there's a small CM 3 drawer storage cabinet roller and a SO 26" topchest ( don't know the model, but it was a freebie with the work box purchase) on top of it in the workshop...Actually mostly empty right now.
Then there's 2 CM 2 drawer Rally box's with all my carry around tools to fix stuff at home and for friends / familly.

In the garage I've got 1 CMan bottom/middle/top an older CMan 3 drawer toolbox with just Metric stuff in it and a CMan 2 drawer project center with a plastic top that I keep my air tools/impact sockets in-I use the bulk storage area in the bottom for my wire feed welder .
In the house I've got a Cman 5 drawer bottom for stuff I can't fit in the garage, a CMan plastic rolling 2 drawer tool cart for my electrical stuff, a rolling Stanley "box" for my household tools and a few smaller boxes for other stuff(plumbing,painting,etc...)
The answer is 5 plus a few storage "bags" for breakdown of smaller projects I may have to do.
Oh, I forgot my wife has a small tool box with HER tools in that I'm not allowed to use:bounce:

36'' snap on top/bottom is my primary box
50'' MAC bottom is for the specialty tools
there is a mid chest on the MAC box that hold drill bits and taps
there is a mid chest on that that holds pullers and bolt outs

40'' craftsman with mid chest to hold measuring instruments
41'' HF to hold mill and lathe tooling
26'' Cman to hold sanding and grinding supplies. also acts as base for belt/disc sander

have a 36'' Cman proset at dads so I have tools to work with there

also have an older Cman at the shop so I have tools to do stuff there

also have a snap on box at work so I have tools there (but they own that box)

I have a 4-5 smaller boxes like the one below, but I don't think those count.

IMG_4143a.jpg

So here are the larger ones I have. If I had more space I would have more boxes (like most on the board).

CL free box I picked up:

IMG_4715ab.jpg

And the "newest" addition.....and the coolest IMO:

018%20%28Large%29.jpg

019%20%28Large%29.jpg

The boxes are scaterd around the garage...I wish I could line them up and have them together...but with my shelves and the fact we park a car in the garage, the boxes are where space allows now.
