How to bring back a worn epoxy floor

I have a StonHard epoxy floor that I installed myself 10 years ago. It has stood up incredibly well, no de-lamination or peeling or bubbles, just chips from abuse and it has gotten really dull in the middle of the floor where all of the heavy work happens. I plan to really give it a thorough cleaning this spring when I can empty the whole garage, fix up some wall paint and do a good spring cleaning. I have a pretty good floor scrubber, I plan on using it with strong detergent to clean the floor. My question is this... can I use a floor buffer on it like you see them doing at shopping malls on the VCT? Or should I plan on abrading the whole floor and adding a new top coat?

You can use a rotary floor scrubber. Stick with the white (most gentle) pads and keep it wet with detergent and water. That will minimize the chance of scratching. It may not make it brand new again, but should get it good and clean. You can add a coat of wax to get it to shine.

Or you can do a sand and recoat with the same coating. You'll probably still want to clean it well, then sand it, vacuum it and apply a fresh coat. 60 grit sandpaper will give you a decnt profile for recoating.

Would this stuff be good for applying as a clear over VCT? I have lots of windows (lowE) in my garage, and like to leave the south facing garage door open when I work, so I'm concerned about yellowing.
