I have a StonHard epoxy floor that I installed myself 10 years ago. It has stood up incredibly well, no de-lamination or peeling or bubbles, just chips from abuse and it has gotten really dull in the middle of the floor where all of the heavy work happens. I plan to really give it a thorough cleaning this spring when I can empty the whole garage, fix up some wall paint and do a good spring cleaning. I have a pretty good floor scrubber, I plan on using it with strong detergent to clean the floor. My question is this... can I use a floor buffer on it like you see them doing at shopping malls on the VCT? Or should I plan on abrading the whole floor and adding a new top coat?
