how to calculate starting capacitor

can someone help me calculate the correct starting capacitor for this electric motor.

Looks like it says the values right on the plate?

80uF 250v
600uF 150v

it will burn every starting capacitor i use after a few hours and it tets real hot

That probably means that the centrifugal switch does not open.
Several reasons:
Gummed up mechanix
Contacts welded
Motor overloaded and does not reach rating plate RPM

This is also likely to overheat the starting winding.
You will know by the winding color and also the smell of overheated wire insulation.

But first of all.
Are you having the proper voltage on the input terminals?

i have proper voltage

yes it overheats

changed all cables to new ones
proper gauge

changed centrifugal switch and testested for proper open close operation
and its ok
remained the same problem

what is the starting winding ?

The start capacitor should be switched completely out of the circuit once the motor is up to speed. The start switch inside the motor does this.

If it doesn't get switched out the start capacitor will be fried in just a minute or two.
