For hand grinding of floors for epoxy with an angle grinder, instead of using a high powered one for harder cement areas and a lower powered one for softer cement areas, you could likely use a router speed control to just slow down your higher amp powered grinder as needed to get the job done. This would allow more control of the grinder when you need it to be slower with less power for softer cement areas. I'm going to try this out shortly. - Paul
