I'm looking into doing the front wheel bearings on a 2005 odyssey. Would a HF 12 ton press be adequate for this job?
12 ton should work fine, but i went with the 20-ton when I got one, for the bearings on my ****** back in the day. I saw a buddy's 12-ton, and it's way more "flexy" than the 20-ton.

i have and recommend the 20T. First thing I did with it was replace the rear axle bearings on a Ford Explorer. It took all my 230 lbs on the jack handle to move it. I'm sure a 12 wouldn't have handled the job.
