Not sure if anyone is following the build of my barn, that thread never took off, but, I finally have the hydronic heat running. It got a lot colder, a lot faster than I expected this year, so I did have to hire some of the work out just to get things moving faster. A few details, 28 x 71 x 14 with two zones. The east room has 3 loops, the west room has 4 loops. I used the Menards Hydro-Smart system for the boiler and integration panels, and BlueRidge for the tubing and manifolds. I did use Foumular 250 under the slab, and buried 2 foot deep outside. Unfortunately I am starting from a pretty cold slab, it was 3degrees when I finally had the heat running. Here is a video from right after I filled the system, and Here is one from this morning after it had run for 12 hours.
I know that it will be expensive for a few weeks since I have not finished insulating the east bay, and have no ceiling installed yet, but it is just too cold to work otherwise. If I can get the metal that is on the floor warm enough to work with, we can get the rest knocked out much faster.
