I need a grease gun

For traditional manual guns I have changed to McNaught- super quality stuff, made in Australia. As I have some heavy equipment, I needed/wanted a better solution than than a hand killing pistol grip, but don't particularly like the idea of being dependent on a battery for greasing, nor having to constantly change tubes. So I ended up with a G Gun (branded by Lock-N-Lube, though I think they can be had without the Lock-N-Lube affiliation as well). Made in South Africa, uses bulk grease several pounds at a time (you have to move it from the container it comes in into the G Gun but they include a nifty tool to do this), never needs to be reprimed as long as you don't run it dry. It's foot operated, and each pump is equivalent to a bunch of regular gun pumps so most fittings need one pump or less. If I'm alone and using it for something under a vehicle I can usually put the coupler on the fitting and then operate the foot pedal with my hand. Has a long hose so you can get to a bunch of fittings without moving it, and combined with a Lock-N-Lube coupler it is surprisingly convenient. Basically it's something between an air powered pail/keg gun and a hand operated gun. Obviously it's not something you are going to throw in the cab of the machine with you along with a box of tubes so it won't work for everyone, but for how I use it I wouldn't have anything else.

I have a McNaught K32 (regular pistol grip gun) and have a problem with the follower seal sticking in the grease tube. It takes ~ 2 seconds for the head to fill before you get a full pump. Any ideas or experienced similar ?

I had nothing but issues with my k32 follower. The original plunger was undersized and leaked grease past the follower immediately. I purchased a replacement follower/plunger kit and it also was undersized. My solution was to go to Walmart and spin on a HyperTough grease tube onto the K32 pump head. It's a tried and true follower design. My 2c.

I'm running an ancient Alemite for manual, as well as an old Pittsburgh (HFT) pneumatic that I rebuilt. The latter will be getting the Lock N' Lube coupler once I find it. My Granddad wasn't a fan of it, and it fit poorly in tight spaces. But, for the easily reached stuff, it works well.
