I was at my local Lowes for some items and I alway walk through the hardware section. An employee was wheeling some rolling tool chests in and I asked him why they were on clearance. He said a big boss had come in and asked the manger why these chests were up on top stock still in the boxes and the mangers reply was no one had interest in them. Of course the big boss said how could they if they can't see it.
Anyway the employee brings it down and its last years model so they build it and discount it. Had a small ding in the rear corner so they took another 10% and with my veteran discount I am out the door for a song. Did I need it well..... you can never have enough storage space. The thing is it has a foam insert for the top. well I have a solid core door I had cut for an old workbench top that I took apart.
My question is do I just drill and screw it on the Kobalt box and if so what would be the best type of screw to use.
