I noticed that a thread was pulled from the GJ recently. It was one I had participated in as late as Saturday morning and did notice the banter had gotten a bit sketchy, it was about a person who had purchased a Snap On tool box and was asking options bout the defects (missed paint, missing rivet, poor trim on a logo, etc.). Did that in-fact get pulled, and are there some "lessons learned" for all of us that were either watching or participating in the banter? It might be instruction and a good set of rules of thumb for us all to abide by if those threads could have a summary story about why it was pulled (no detail, generalities would be good).
I try very hard to not be controversial, keep my tone productive and help as much as I am capable of. Sometimes I stick my neck out a bit and offer some advice, but always with an air of "trying to help".
Maybe there is a place on the GJ where these are chronicled, but I've not found it.
Thanks for keeping GJ civil...
