KM223,

Hey that Super Lube tube in the corner- is that what you use in the Snap-on Dual 80? I'm just wondering because on new Dual 80s I have had them slip a little until I take them apart and wipe a small amount of that thick clear stuff off the gear the factory puts on.

Hey Steven, yes the Super Lube is for all the ratchets. I have rebuild kits for all the ratchets I have and find that the small amount of Super Lube that Snap On provides is never enough. I've never run into a slippage problem with any of my Dual 80s?? I'd be interested to find out why that's happening to yours.

It's a Proto 5257FL, indexing flex head. Indexing is locking but the flex is ball and detent. Was a NOS flea market find. When I first saw it I thought it was a little gimmicky, but I trust the Proto name so I bought it. Don't use it often but it has come in handy a time or two, enough that I'll keep it in the line up

I have never used these but for some reason I had to buy 2 of each size....

The worst is the TLL72. I got a Super Lube 3 oz tube at ACE Hardware for $9. I believe that was the stuff I was looking for thanks!

Geez! I thought I had a prob too. I really needed (wanted) just ONE 88 tooth comfort handle snap-on ratchet. Months later I now have ALL the comfort ratchets that they make. It's really nothing though compared to a lot of folks on this site. Now if we're talking screwdrivers, I easily have about 60-70 right now.

Hmmm... I didn't know they had all three sizes, I've been eyeballing a 1/4 one for awhile. It's hard to pull the trigger on them though when the uses for it are so rare. Really cool ratchets though, one day I'll have some
