At a local pawn shop, they've got a Snap-On KRSC33 box. It looks like the previous owner cleared out necessities, leaving behind a few items to bump up the money he'd be offered at the shop. A handful of these items are Snap-On; what caught my eye was an incomplete wrench set and a few incomplete socket sets. I'd very conservatively say I could get $100 for the contents of the box. Price = 500 dollars.
I could swing this on layaway over the course of a few paychecks without much trouble. Apart from parting with the $500, the main thing that bothers me about pulling the trigger is that the damn thing's yellow! Other than that, the box is in excellent shape. I do need a small box for home use; this one is more of a work-station, which would suit my needs just fine. So I could get over the color, I'm telling myself, if I think the price is right.
As you could probably guess, I'm on the fence about the price. What would you do? Anyone like these boxes?
