Hi everyone I have a 1/2 brushless impact wrench and was wondering would it be powerful enough to put a 3/4 adapter and socket on it or would it be sluggish ?

Really depends what you're using it on. Which impact do you have? The top of the line DeWalt XR/M18 Fuel are pretty peppy, maybe even compared to older air 3/4 guns, especially on homegamer 3/8 lines.

I use the high torque Milwaukee with a 3/4" adapter occasionally. It will take the lug nuts off a semi.

If youre trying to break it loose, hook it up and try it out! If youre tightening, crank it down and check it with a torque wrench to see if its tight enough. In my experience, most 1/2 battery guns can handle a 1 5/8” and down 3/4dr socket in short spurts. Continuous hammeriing seems to heat them up quickly and kill the battery. It all depends on what youre trying to do with it
