Looking for stainless steel or brass nails with half-round (preferred) or flat head:

Head diameter: 2mm or a bit larger
Shaft diameter: 0.6 - 0.8mm
Shaft length: >5.0mm (not critical)

It actually doesn't need to be a nail or brad. A headpin, as used in jewelry making would also work.

I have searched everywhere and found nothing suitable.

A thumb tack may work. The dimension on the shaft is the description of a needle. What are you trying to do, because that could help in finding what you need?

You might try Hobby Lobby or Michaels or Jo-Ann's, Hobbycraft stores

I have tried all local hobby and arts and crafts shops. The closest I can find are earring post studs with a 2.5mm pad/head, but the shaft is too thick.

The nails/brads/studs are to be inserted into 2mm OD/0.8mm ID tubing with the heads making axle ends to keep wheels from falling off.

ssdave, the earposts that you linked appear to have heads around 1.5mm in diameter.

I would need a couple hundred.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I found a vendor who sells brass nails with 0.9mm diameter and with a 2.1mm head.
