I would like to run an LED “tape” set of lights around the inside of my gun safe. I have a 110v plug inside the safe. My old lights are failing.

I would like to run some of those LED tape lights around the inside of the door.

I could mount a standard switch and make it work but does anyone know of a 110v motion detector switch I could use?

i have room on the ceiling of the safe to mount a standard switch box.

I’m looking for a set it and forget it option.

Thanks. .

Not a 110 Volt switch, but 12 or 24 volt motion detector switch;

I put a couple of 24" LED strips ( https://www.superbrightleds.com/aluminum-led-light-bar-fixture-low-profile-surface-mount ) inside our lazy susan cabinet, one on each wall, and put the switch just inside the upper corner of the door, hinge side. (truth: actually used a version they've discontinued, so..). Wall wart power supply behind the fridge, wire snaked into the back of the cabinets.

Open the swinging door and by the time you're reaching in, viola'!! lights come on, stay on for about 30 seconds after they don't sense movement. Wife loves them. ;);)
