Im looking to buy a vertical 20-30 gallon compressor for my tiny garage. Ive been borrowing my dads 12 gal. Craftsman every now and then. But I need my own. Any suggestions?
I have a 30 gal 110v Kobalt compressor. It sure as the world isn't what I used to have (an old industrial grade 220v 60 gal compressor), but it works for most general small shop work. You just have to let it catch up and it won't feed some really air hungry tools. I got it for about 60% off new from someone who thought they needed it but soon realized they needed money more. That compressor was the best 110v option I have found, and I didn't want to run 220v to my current garage.
Ditto what he said. You also want to look at what PSI it produces the rated CFM. I know a lot of IR compressors publish their rated CFM at 175 psi where others have their rated CFM at 90psi.
