I have a couple of the Gearwrench ones...build quality is fine but I almost never use them, the heads are weird and I find a traditional pry bar better to use.

I have a couple large Crescents I bought for a project from Depot......****. And I have two SK units (large and small) that have never let me down.

I don't have that many of them so, I can't say they're the best but, I have a Gearwench two piece set that has served me well. I have like a 3 foot SATA one that is built like a tank and pretty heavy. My favorites would probably the green handled ones no longer made by SK.

One of those tools that only truly needed for occasional scenarios when specific angle required for access/clearance .
As most source these it hard recommend as design on locking mechanism changed a fair bit even from same odm sourcing .
Youtube reviews might be good way build up some knowledge to pick good option .

I've got that same SATA bar and it's pretty nice, but haven't really done anything crazy with it. I'm pretty sure the SATAs are the same thing as the Gearwrench just with a different name stamped on.

I don't own any "lady foot" style pry bars, so maybe I'd find the indexing bar less useful if I did but it's come in handy a few times.

I have TOPTUL'S which work fine, actually I use them as seal pullers primarily, but Gearwrench and many others are probably just as good as all of them likely come from the same factory.

I have two from Titan that I picked up from O'Reilly's that I like pretty well and use frequently. They're identical to the ones sold under NAPA's Carlyle brand (except for the button color) at about 1/2 to 1/3 the price.

I have the semi-modern Craftsman Taiwan that seem to be the same ones as those. Work well, have a set of 3 that was a "hot deal" at one time. Great for pulling seals.

Snap On sells or did sell the SK rebranded. 30"+ handle. I've broken the GW and other clones but not this one. The tip bent before breaking so I know it's a good one, but my dealer did say he's had the adjustable part break before so...

Depends on your field of work I’d say, if you need prybars relatively often (especially outside of things like engines that have cutouts specifically there for prying) you’ll definitely run into situations where the standard angle doesn’t work too well or at all

Another option is something like this if you think having a hammer attached to it would be useful, I have the crescent I think craftsman makes one too. I’ve seen some reviews calling it a gimmick but in practice I’ve put it to good use many times and am happy to have it on hand

Looks lke the SK's are discontinued, so warranty would be an issue if you found old stock.

I wonder what Snappy is doing for warranty?

I have a old set of Protos that work but the Snappy ladies foot bars are always my first grab.

I have and used Snap-ons only for a few times. I mostly grabbed the fixed Mayhews first before the indexing version.
