I've got that same SATA bar and it's pretty nice, but haven't really done anything crazy with it. I'm pretty sure the SATAs are the same thing as the Gearwrench just with a different name stamped on.I don't have that many of them so, I can't say they're the best but, I have a Gearwench two piece set that has served me well. I have like a 3 foot SATA one that is built like a tank and pretty heavy. My favorites would probably the green handled ones no longer made by SK.
same here. i have a gearwrench that i bought at lowes many years ago when they were on clearance. i've never found much use for the shape/angle of it.I have a couple of the Gearwrench ones...build quality is fine but I almost never use them, the heads are weird and I find a traditional pry bar better to use.
I have the semi-modern Craftsman Taiwan that seem to be the same ones as those. Work well, have a set of 3 that was a "hot deal" at one time. Great for pulling seals.I have a couple of the Gearwrench ones...build quality is fine but I almost never use them, the heads are weird and I find a traditional pry bar better to use.
Depends on your field of work I’d say, if you need prybars relatively often (especially outside of things like engines that have cutouts specifically there for prying) you’ll definitely run into situations where the standard angle doesn’t work too well or at allOne of those tools that only truly needed for occasional scenarios when specific angle required for access/clearance .
As most source these it hard recommend as design on locking mechanism changed a fair bit even from same odm sourcing .
Youtube reviews might be good way build up some knowledge to pick good option .
