Indexing wrenches as well as obstruction?

I've got S and C obstruction wrenches, but I was looking at a set of indexing box end ratchets and started imagining all sorts of places they might work and nothing else would fit. Several places have a full set under $100, but I don't really want to spend the money just to find a place to put them and not use them. Are they handy? Lifesavers?

I've wondered the same. A former co-worker bought the whole set, but, as far as I remember they weren't used much. I think it's a great idea if you have a use for them on a day to day basis. Although I think I would rather pick up the individual wrench I used all the time. Some would say I have too many wrenches though... :D

Chances are REAL good that I would be fine 95% of the time with 10mm and 13mm, but two wrenches are about half the cost of the full set, so ....

The only sets I have found are 6 pc;
-8mm x 10mm
-11mm x 12mm
-13mm x 14mm
-15mm x 16mm
-17mm x 18mm
-19mm x 21mm

Thinking about it, I may just buy the 10mm, and look for a indexing ratchet I could convert to a bit holder ratcheting head.

The set you have pictured goes on sale for about $45 every few months if you don't need them right away.

I put 'em on my Christmas list this year. Wife asked what I wanted for xmas and I handed her my list and let her know she couldn't go wrong with anything on that list.

Thanks for the tip. I was literally about to buy a set for $73 shipped, but waiting for another sale works much better. $98 right now at Sears for the KD branded set.

I'm resurrecting this 'cause now I want this set and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they still go on sale for ~$45 from time to time? Cripe has them on ebay right now for $68 plus $12.50 shipping, but I'm not in a huge hurry.

Edit: GW/KD 85490 to be exact.

And is there really not a fractional counterpart for this set?
