I have always used Snap On impacts. When a new one came out I'd trade the old one in on it. Snap On is all I've used.
I thought I'd give IR a try so I ordered a 2235TIMAX and received it last week. The 1st thing I noticed is the sound in reverse sounds a lot more powerful than the forward sound. The forward sound leads one to believe something is wrong with it. The best way I can describe it is it sounds like it would if you cut the air pressure down to 30 PSI.
Should the forward and reverse sounds be different?
Before anyone asks, I have an 80 gallon compressor without pressure regulator piped into 1/2" pipe.
