Installing a garage door

I plan on installing a standard 8 x 7 door in a block wall opening. Problem is that one side is not true vertical, it bows in half way up a few inches.
The opening is 8' exactly but over 7' high.
The block is grouted and rebarred. It supports a beam.
So tearing down the wall is not a good option. So I need to figure the best way to mount the door. How far out has anyone gone? I plan on scribing some wood to make it plumb and to bolt the track to.
How would you tackle this?

Easiest way would be wood. You could cut some blocks and make small slivers till you true it up as well. I would fill the gap with wood and then cover the outside with some moulding on both sides of the openning so nobody would be the wiser.

All of my garage doors mount on the inside wall. It doesn't matter if the opening is square or not. That has nothing to do with the door hardware or how it mounts. The door seals to the inside wall when closed.

As above. I would mount 2x6s to the block inside the opening and mount the door to that. Trim outside as needed after the door is hung.

The wall on the inside is tilted. The place where you mount yours to. It was warm enough yesterday to get my woman out there to help me measure. I am only out about 3/4" from floor to top starting in the middle.
Is that within tolerance?
I could scribe a 2 x or put a 1" board behind it half way up to where it curves and one on the other side. Moulding to make it all pretty. This is for an area under a backyard raised deck for storage.

Ah, understood. Initial post was not clear and I read "opening" as where the problem was.
Trim out the inside with 2 x 6"s. Whatever method you use to square up the inside wall on the bad end make sure the other end is square and level to that. Trim out the top to match and then you can hang the tracks on the 2 x6's.
I would suggest using good cement anchors and construction adhesive to attach the 2 x's.

I am leaning towards a deck board on the vertical half and a hi den foam board scribed to the gap. The 2x will rest vertically on the top block and on the deck board. Some pvc trim and I will be good to go. As I mentioned, I would step back the other side with whatever I end up doing.
I googled and don't know why you even need a 2x to mount to. If you use tapcons instead, wouldn't that be more secure? The 2x is just for a strong straight surface that is easy to attach the track to. Everyone says do it but I wonder what is the need? I can see if the opening is wood. I don't just want to know how, but why?
I do appreciate all the help and insight
