Nice details.

Can you add a part number details and source for the drum switch, pedal, gear motor, and coupling? Building one of these is on my long list of things to do.

the drum switch, foot pedal were Ebay items from China, i will get the other numbers. the coupling was from McMaster Carr. and you order the shaft size you need, i can get the numbers buts whats more important is the concept with the coupling since your shafts might me different sizes.

to me the coupling was the easiset way to go so there are no chains, sprockets etc...

cool project. not going to be much of the original roller by the time you're done. lol

thanks guys and yes you are right on that account.... but still several hundred dollars less then buying one with a motor on it. funny thing is that when you do a search on this motor its application is for bead rollers. this was a fun project and i like doing things i havent done before. the HF unit puts you off to a really good start. bob
