Hi all,
I am nearing a point where my garage will be finished from a building point of view and I will start to insulate the inside.
Does anyone have experience of which is better or any options I should look at.
So far I am thinking of insulated plasterboard- all in one product that screws to the wall. Plasterboard bonded to extruded polystyrene insulant.
Or
Wood batons with loft insulation in between, vapour barrier and covered with plasterboard.
Am currently going with the insulated plaster board because its supposed to be all in one including a vapour barrier and will take a lot less time to put up and potentially cheaper!
Question is, will it be as good or better than loft insulation which is fibreglass wool I think- you know, the itchy stuff!
All advice is welcome
