I found this on youtube, while checking out Snap-On youtube videos. I like Snap_On tools. Are they expensive? They are certainly not cheap when compared to alternatives but that is not what this is about.

This guy came up with a tool and then Snap-on tried to copy it, according to the video. The beginning is a rant but in the end it shows how this guy's tool, can also check for corroded wires. That is usually the last thing that I would think of, but when I trouble shoot electrical work, I usually start from the source and work my way from there. I am not great at it, but I use a methodical approach, which is probably not the fastest. The name of the tool is load pro, so I added it to the title above.

Anyway this guy's tool which is supposed to be cheaper than Snap-On and supposed to be better is in this video. He has several videos that teach electrical trouble shooting. I guess I will have to put this next to my Scanner Danner list of stuff to check out. This guy's name is Daniel Sullivan. I do not know the whole story, I just watched the video and wanted to share. Maybe other tools do load testing as well, I do not know. I also like to watch Eric the car guy videos. Mostly because he is a cool dude and I enjoy car repair, when it does not frustrate me.

Maybe somebody has tried this tool. If you have tried it please comment on how you like it. Maybe I will pick one up, in the future.

Good luck.

Lots of threads on this tool already. It is popular here and is very useful from what I've heard.

And here we go again! :lol_hitti

There are many posts on here about the loadpro and also the debates between it and the various other testers out there. I have the loadpro and like it. It's a good tool for testing.

His rant about the snap-on product is silly.
They are two different tools he should compare it to a tool that is similar.
The snap-on eect400 is a test light with a voltmeter in it.
Both appear in Snap-on catalogs so who's chain is he jerking?
