I found this on youtube, while checking out Snap-On youtube videos. I like Snap_On tools. Are they expensive? They are certainly not cheap when compared to alternatives but that is not what this is about.
This guy came up with a tool and then Snap-on tried to copy it, according to the video. The beginning is a rant but in the end it shows how this guy's tool, can also check for corroded wires. That is usually the last thing that I would think of, but when I trouble shoot electrical work, I usually start from the source and work my way from there. I am not great at it, but I use a methodical approach, which is probably not the fastest. The name of the tool is load pro, so I added it to the title above.
Anyway this guy's tool which is supposed to be cheaper than Snap-On and supposed to be better is in this video. He has several videos that teach electrical trouble shooting. I guess I will have to put this next to my Scanner Danner list of stuff to check out. This guy's name is Daniel Sullivan. I do not know the whole story, I just watched the video and wanted to share. Maybe other tools do load testing as well, I do not know. I also like to watch Eric the car guy videos. Mostly because he is a cool dude and I enjoy car repair, when it does not frustrate me.
Maybe somebody has tried this tool. If you have tried it please comment on how you like it. Maybe I will pick one up, in the future.
Good luck.
