I have a 36x48 metal building that is being constructed.
I am going to be studding the interior for sheetrock (metal is 4'OC).
Question arouse as to interior wiring. I have always understood that a metal building needs conduit or BX, but seeing as how it will have wood studs, can I use NM between the wood studs?
Why? Well I don't want to wait to finish the interior before I wire. Heck, I don't know how far in the future that might be. So exposed conduit is probably out. I also really dislike using BX and the cost is more that NM.
No real permits required.
thanks for you input!
