I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has had any positive/negative experiences with International tool boxes? I purchased a Craftsman branded SHD(Super Heavy Duty) tool box from International tool boxes. It took over a month to ship then it came with almost every drawer handle bent and two large dings in the side of the boxes. The shipping cardboard was not damaged so it appears they packaged it knowing it was damaged.. I contacted their customer service department and asked if I could return it for a new undamaged box. They stated they did not have anymore boxes but I could return it for a refund. The catch was I had a cabinet in my new garage built to the specifications of this toolbox, so it would fit perfectly and not have any wasted space. The lady said they could give me a 15 percent refund if I would keep it and send me new plastic end caps for the drawers since almost all of them were broken off.
I did receive the refund but have never received my replacement end caps. I have contacted them via email and phone and they will not honor their commitment to replace the damaged caps. They will not return my emails or calls after the initial contact. This is the worst customer service I have ever delt with and would warn anyone from doing business with this company!!!
