We had one in my high school auto shop (1956).
Mine is 1/2in drive & don't forget you can use the adapter on ratchets with the screwdriver tipsI've had several over the years, first one I got when I was 12 because I didn't have air yet...btw, some guys don't realize the adapter for the bits comes off, and you can use it with a 3/8" drive socket...can't tell you how many guys I've shown that to who never knew...
Or some heatAnd don't forget the WD-40 or PB Blaster 10-15 minutes before trying to break it loose.
Make sure if you are working on any japanese/import stuff you buy JIS bits. THEY ARE NOT PHILLIPS!!
Thanks for posting this! I knew that there were different flavors of cross-head screws (Philips, Posidriv, etc), but I wasn't aware that JIS was one of them.
