My wife bought me a 3-pack of Dewalt blades for my mitre saw a few years ago for Christmas. I have not needed them till last night so when I finally opened them and put them on the saw they won't stay in place because the hole is larger than the stock blade. So is there any type of adaptor that would reduce the whole size to the stock blade shown in the second image?

Harbor Freight has them as well. I can't comment on the quality though.

Their stuff will work, or you can go to that woodworkers specially store and get a product that will work just as well for a lot more money.

Since it's your wife's fault that you have this problem, just ask her to solve it!

I hope everyone realizes the above is written with a big laugh attached!

As others have pointed out, adapters are readily available. I don't like pushing one out of a used blade (especially if it is in tight), as it can damage the blade and/or bushing. Just get some new ones. Even HF can't screw this up!
