Hi guys, I've been searching for a good compressor for a while now and searched through all the threads here for more information but couldn't find anything specific on this model of Quincy compressor.
Quincy QT-54 Splash Lubricated Reciprocating Air Compressor — 5 HP, 230 Volt, 1 Phase, 60-Gallon Vertical, Model# 2V41C60VC

I will be using the compressor for auto restorations. I have 3 IHs that I'm rebuilding and therefore will be using it for air tools, sand blasting, and hopefully painting. My 24 year old TS 25 gal compressor is just not up to the job. I can run a cutoff wheel for a whole 20 seconds, 2 minute wait, then another 20 seconds. lol
Based on my intended use, is this a good compressor for the price? I don't like to buy used unless I know the source so I have been saving up for a new one.
What are the pros and cons of this Quincy? I know nothing about compressors.
TIA guys!
