You could drill about anything with that.I think that's some sort of boring/milling machine rather than a drill press.
bmw, I've seen a few nice drill presses around lately - whatcha looking for? Maybe I can help point you in the direction.
All the lights in the neighborhood would dim when you started that thing upYou could drill about anything with that.
Good thing about you being Jersey (if anything at all can be said for living there) is that I'm convinced that about a third of the used equipment dealers in the US are in Jersey or New York, a fairly close trip for you, compared to 900 miles for me.

I’m impressed! What a nice heavy piece of iron. Great for drilling 2" diameter holes in steel. But not practical for 1/4" holes,, it would be difficult to get a feel of what you’re drilling. And unfortunately most work around the home would be less than 1/2".
Looks like a really nice shaper vise sitting on the table. Most likely worth as much or more than the drill press....
That would look nice in my garage shop. But I’m negotiating on a radial drill press at the time...
OldCarGuy, if you don't buy this, you'll be sorry! Not sure how close it is, but break out that trailer and pick this bad boy up. I want to see it in action.

No drill press is too big!! Saying a drill press is too big is like saying you have too much money, too much fun, too many tools etc. You may think the press is too big when actually your shop is too small!![]()
