Issues with Legacy's HD40?

Anyone here had issues with the application of the HD40? I applied mine last week and I could only apply about 20 square feet at a time until my sprayer would clog up and I would have to stop to clean up the sprayer. I tried 2 different sprayers (both new....one with a strainer and one without) and both clogged. The strainer on the one would clog up so bad it would not let the liquid flow and the spray valve on the other would stop up. I had the HD40 put in a five gallon paint shaker before I applied so I don't think improper mixing is to blame. Here is what I found when I finally opened up the container:

There seemed to be black, rubbery chunks all in the mixture.

The first coat looked horrible since I had to stop so often. I finally strained the last two coats through coffee filters (a painfully slow process) and got better results on the last two coats. But even after burnishing I can see all the blotchyness of the first coat in the right lighting. I'm not too worried about the looks since I did this more for the function but just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything wrong and to see if anyone else has had issues?

Not sure what is going on and first I am hearing about this.
You can filter out the items causing the spray issue with some cheese cloth.
If that does not work, email us and we will get you replacement material.

Thanks.

The filtering through the coffee filters seemed to work but just didn't know if this was normal. I figured the application would be simple but took us nearly 6 hours to spray three coats between the filtering and figuring out what was wrong. I'm satisfied with the results so far but the process was a headache.

PM sent. And like I said I'm not dissatisfied with the results from the product. Just wanted to see if this was a know issue and if not make sure no one else has the same problem.

These are the only pics of the I have with me at the moment. I'll get some more soon. I was testing out my lift placement.

They looked really good right after burnishing but the luster seems to be fading. They have had lots of construction traffic on them though. I will probably try buffing them once I get the inside finished up to try to get all the scuffs from ladders etc up.

How many coats did you apply? Did you thin with water as the directions indicate? What prep?

Looks nice!

You will need a burnisher for best results.....may also be called a high speed buffer. They turn at about 2000 rpm or so. They are not just a normal floor buffer. I had trouble finding one and ended up driving nearly an hour one way to rent one.

Buffer can get it done but not nearly as good as a burnisher. Burnishers start at approx 700 rpm and go up to 2 or 3k rpm

What are your thoughts on thinning? I was surprised the instructions say to do it, is that something more for maintainance coats?

What is the preferred method for cleaning floors covered in HD40? I've got a lot of construction scuffs etc on mine and want to get it back to a good sheen....
