When you twist the handle, only the 1/4 drive moves. Anybody seen or know what it would be called?

Look's like it might be a tool for adjusting idle air screws on carburetors.

I've seen them used to adjust carburetors, not sure of the name though.

snap on sells another version that is flexible, its awesome!! put sockets on it and run something out once broken loose, or use it to start a fastener that you cant get your hands on. Well worth the 25 bucks.

It's for adjusting carbs. I have a kit that I bought off the SO truck probably 8 years ago. I'll add a picture when I get home.

You use it for adjusting carburetors and GM points, kit should include 3 different flat screw driver type sockets and a ball end allan wrench socket. I also bought a double D socket for later Quadrajets.

It's a Snap On/Blue Point tool, Snap On also made one with a flew where the bend is.

I made one not too long ago, as my 80's truck has a carb, and so few shops will actually work on carbed vehicles.

Is it right handed or left handed ? Makes a difference on which Carb you use it on!

^ this. some were made with a short section of flexible shaft at the drive end - we sold them in Indestro - full kit was a #2820 - attachments were available separately.
mostly for GM Quadrajets and 1957-1974 GM V8 distributors, as I recall.
