Jack Olsen in another magazine ?!

I'm sitting in the dentist chair waiting so I started flipping through a magazine and saw jacks garage. Don't know if this one was covered, but. He is everywhere.

But my wife said it looked like I'd lost my hair with the welding cap one. I don't know much care for either honestly, but I like the idea of an avatar being a picture of the guy who's writing.

Thanks for taking the time to snap a picture of it, ShadowDog500. My local magazine stand still hasn't gotten it.

There's already been one thread started on it, but the reason I'm in it has very little to do with me. What I did was to wake the sleeping giant that is the Garage Journal by starting this thread. By the time the contest was over, there were more votes in the 12-Gauge Garage column than were cast for all the other participants combined.

However, it should be noted that the grand prize winner (chosen by the magazine editors) is a Garage Journal guy who built his garage from the ground up, including designing some awesome home-engineered trusses.

And by the way, he's allowed to home-engineer his trusses -- because he's a bridge engineer by trade.
