These pics show the battery box and battery installed along with the gas tank brackets and tank. The fuel line is connected. Also the choke cable and throttle cable are now attached to the dash. Today I will work on the wiring and should get it fired up for the first time soon. It is a excellent running little engine. In high range in high gear it actually goes about 15 mph . In low range in low gear it barely crawls. You can also see the new location for the muffler behind the fender. This little mini Jeep is not very pretty but such a unique fun winter project it has been.

This week I got the wiring done and all tucked inside the new panels. It starts and runs great and the new location for the muffler is perfect. Now I can just enjoy going back and finishing the inside sheet metal work and go back and weld the roll bars and all the parts I had just tack welded in the beginning. I will go back over the paint and sand a lot of the brush marks out and get it too shine better. Also the decals will make it look cute . I will be curious in the spring how small it will look parked next to my lifted truck with the 35" tires. My wife took this photo today of me sitting in the Wheel horse 310-8 mini Jeep. It does look smaller seeing me inside it, ha,ha. Thanks for letting me share another one of my projects here and thanks for all the kind words.

I got the new seat brackets built and both seats mounted in place for the first time. It's a tight fit but pleased how it looks. This week I am working on my mini loader bucket . Been wanting to add a longer floor to the bucket and taller sides. I am adding 16 inches to the bottom of the bucket and raising the sides several inches. Lake effect snow is so light and we get a lot of it , now problem hauling more in the bucket . Wet snow I will just scoop the same amount as before . Here is a bucket I saw today on the internet. Sweet !

On those seats, how wide are you within the body? I am trying to source some seats out for a 2-seat go-kart, but everything reads the seats are 21" wide.

Hi Guys, My seats were 21" wide too . I actually had to trim a inch off the inside edge of each seat to fit inside my little Jeep body. They fit snug but work great and they were very affordable. I have not been in the shop much this winter. Temps have been 5 to 15 degrees and not good for puttering in the shop. We have over 90" of snow so far so I have had fun plowing snow. My new oversized snow bucket has worked great. I love it. I think it lifts almost twice as much as before. Wet snow make the back end very light but the wheels stay on the ground. I have removed the blade and attached the snowblower on the little 4x4 tractor as the snow piles start to get taller. I did some welding on the Jeep tack welds to finish them up and I did a little more bodywork. I can't wait for some nice 40 degree days.

Yea, were half way through winter. I shoveled the roofs three times so far. 10 - 12" more snow coming tomorrow so roof shoveling time number 4 later this week. lol We stay positive and look at it compared to forest fires, tornados , floods , hurricanes and drouts .
